What is the Off-Lead Freedom Course?

Where do you run the group sessions? 

We're currently running the course at; 

Hengrove Leisure Park (near the Premier Inn), Hengrove Way, Bristol BS14 0HR

When do you run the program?

The first in-person group session will start on your selected start date. Then will be on the same day and time every week for 4 weeks. 

What methods do you use?

We ensure your dog has a solid understanding of the recall via positive training and then we use modern electronic collar training to ensure a very high degree of reliability. 

Is E-Collar training cruel?

I spent the first twelve years of training dogs professionally believing that it was! After being exposed to modern e-collar technology and training methods I realized I was very wrong. 

You will not find people that love dogs more than us but if you get signed up and do decide it's not for you then simply return your e-collar and get a full refund. 

My dog is aggressive to other dogs/people can I still come? 

This program is not appropriate for dogs that display aggression to dogs or people. We can still arrange to help you in one of our other more appropriate courses. To arrange that reach out to us on info@houndplus.com

My dog is obsessed with hunting will this still work?

Yes. 

What age is appropriate for this?

This program is appropriate for dogs above the age of ten months.

What happens if I miss a session? 

We can follow-up via phone to ensure you remain on the right track but unfortunately we can't offer refunds for missed sessions.
